Dr. Priya Sharma, MD

Dr. Priya Sharma is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive shoulder and knee surgery. She trained at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she developed a focus on arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, and cartilage preservation.

At CSRI, Dr. Sharma performs rotator cuff repairs, shoulder arthroscopy, meniscus surgery, and select outpatient joint replacement procedures. She is committed to matching surgical approach to patient goals — whether that is returning to competitive swimming or simply reaching overhead without pain.

Dr. Sharma joined the founding physician group in 2019 and is an owner of the institute. She hosts quarterly pre-operative education sessions for patients preparing for shoulder and knee surgery.

In her free time, she practices yoga, gardens, and mentors women pursuing careers in surgery.
