Dr. Marcus Reid, MD

Dr. Marcus Reid is a board-certified sports medicine physician who specializes in non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and concussion management. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University and a sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

Patients appreciate Dr. Reid’s ability to explain complex injuries in plain language and his conservative-first approach — surgery when it is the right answer, not the default. He performs ultrasound-guided injections, fracture management, and return-to-play evaluations for athletes at every level.

Dr. Reid is an owner of CSRI and serves as the institute’s concussion protocol lead. He works closely with athletic trainers and physical therapists to keep recovery plans coordinated across disciplines.

He is an avid cyclist and coaches his son’s middle school basketball team.
