Athletic Trainer & Performance Lead
- Performance & Prevention
Amanda Ortiz is a certified athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist who leads CSRI’s Performance & Prevention programs. She spent six years as an athletic trainer for a Division II university before joining CSRI to build injury prevention and performance screening services for individual athletes and club teams.
Amanda conducts functional movement screenings, overhead athlete arm care programs, and pre-season conditioning assessments. She bridges the gap between rehabilitation and full return to competition — working with Rachel Kim’s PT team on late-stage sport-specific progressions.
She is a strong advocate for youth athlete load management and educates coaches and parents on recognizing early warning signs of overuse injury.
Amanda enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and developing injury prevention workshops for local club sports.
